Web development

Fast, secure websites and web applications, built to last

We build custom websites, CMS and e-commerce sites, and web applications that are quick to load, safe, easy to update and ready to grow. Because our developers work alongside our SEO and marketing team, search and conversion are built in from the first line of code.

The problem

When your website holds the business back

Every change needs a developer

Simple updates take days because the site is hard-coded or the CMS is confusing.

It is slow and fragile

Dozens of plugins, outdated code and cheap hosting make pages slow and updates risky.

Security worries

Old software, weak passwords and no backups leave the site open to attack.

Systems don't talk to each other

Leads, orders and bookings are copied between the website and other tools by hand.

It can't grow with you

New features, markets or languages mean workarounds instead of clean solutions.

SEO was an afterthought

Messy URLs, duplicate pages and missing metadata hold back search performance.

What we do

What our web development covers

Custom development

Websites and web applications built for your exact requirements, in PHP and modern JavaScript, with clean, documented code another developer can pick up.

CMS development

WordPress sites with custom themes and only the plugins you need, or a lightweight custom CMS when a full platform would be overkill.

E-commerce development

Shopify and WooCommerce stores, custom product logic, payment gateways, shipping rules and checkout improvements.

Database design and integration

Well-structured MySQL databases with proper indexing, so data stays consistent and queries stay fast as you grow.

APIs and integrations

Connecting your site to CRMs, ERPs, payment providers, booking systems, marketing tools and internal software, or building APIs for others to use.

Performance

Fast server response, efficient code, caching, optimized images and minimal JavaScript, measured against Core Web Vitals.

Security

Secure coding practices against the common web vulnerabilities, HTTPS, secure authentication, regular updates, monitoring and backups.

Scalable architecture

Clear structure, separated configuration and sensible hosting choices, so adding features, traffic or markets doesn't mean starting again.

Technical SEO built in

Clean URLs, canonical tags, structured data, XML sitemaps, redirects and fast pages, implemented during the build, not patched afterwards.

Maintenance

Updates, security patches, backups, uptime monitoring and small improvements after launch, so your site stays healthy.

Why it matters

Good engineering saves money every year after launch

A well-built site costs less to run, is safer, ranks more easily and lets your team move faster. A poorly built one becomes a constant source of fixes, delays and risk. The difference is rarely visible on launch day, but it is very visible a year later.

Tells search engines and AI tools exactly who a business is. We add it to every site we build.

I have seen too many sites rebuilt on fashionable technology that the owner can't update. We build with what fits your team, keep it fast, and make sure nothing that already ranks gets lost in the move.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question?

Ask us directly. You will get a straight answer, even if it is that you don't need us.

Ask Your Question
Which technologies do you use?

For most websites we work with PHP, MySQL and modern JavaScript, using WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify where an established platform is the right fit, and custom code where it isn't. For interactive interfaces we use React when it is justified. We choose the simplest technology that meets your needs and that your team can maintain.

Do we need WordPress, Shopify or a custom build?

WordPress suits content-heavy sites where your team edits often. Shopify suits most online stores that want reliable hosting and checkout without heavy customization. A custom build makes sense when you have specific workflows, integrations or performance needs that platforms handle badly. We will explain the trade-offs in writing before you decide.

Can you take over an existing website?

Yes. We start with a technical review of the code, hosting, plugins, security and performance, then tell you what is sound, what is risky and what we recommend. Sometimes that is a gradual clean-up; occasionally a rebuild is cheaper in the long run.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the project is paid for. Code is kept in a repository you have access to, and hosting, domains and third-party accounts are registered in your name.

Do you provide hosting?

We recommend hosting that suits your site and budget, set it up in your name and configure it for performance and security. That way you are never dependent on us to access your own website.

Do you offer maintenance after launch?

Yes. Ongoing maintenance can cover updates, security monitoring, backups, uptime checks, small changes and performance reviews. It is optional, and the scope is agreed upfront.

How do you approach security?

Security is part of how we build, not an extra: validated input, prepared database queries, escaped output, CSRF protection, secure authentication, safe file uploads, HTTPS, least-privilege access, updates and tested backups.

Can you integrate our website with our CRM or other systems?

Yes. We regularly connect websites to CRMs, payment gateways, booking systems, email platforms, ERPs and internal tools through their APIs, so data moves automatically instead of being copied by hand.
