The problem

Why your website may not be getting the traffic it should

Poor organic performance usually has more than one cause. These are the most common patterns behind weak organic performance.

You rank, but for the wrong searches

Traffic comes in, but from people who were never going to buy. The pages that should attract buyers are not targeting the searches buyers actually use.

Rankings dropped and nobody knows why

A site change, a migration, a Google update or a competitor's improvement can all cause a drop. Without a proper diagnosis, teams often fix the wrong thing.

Competitors outrank you, even though you are better

Search engines don't know which business is better. They see which pages answer the search more completely, load faster and are referenced by other sites.

Search engines can't properly read your site

Slow pages, broken links, duplicate URLs, blocked resources or JavaScript-heavy pages can stop important content from being crawled and indexed.

Content exists, but it doesn't match what people want

A page written around a keyword, rather than the question behind it, rarely ranks well and rarely converts.

Very few websites link to yours

Links and mentions from relevant, trusted sites are still one of the strongest signals of authority, and many good businesses have very few.

Not sure which of these applies to you? An audit will tell you.

What SEO actually involves

SEO (search engine optimization) is the work of making your website easy for search engines to understand, and genuinely useful to the people searching. When both are true, your pages appear for more of the searches your customers make.

It has three parts that depend on each other:

  • Technical SEO: making sure search engines can crawl, render and index your pages, and that the site is fast and secure.
  • On-page SEO: making each page clearly about one topic, matched to what searchers want, with helpful content and a sensible structure.
  • Off-page SEO: building the reputation of your site through links and mentions from other relevant websites.

Neglect any one of them and the other two work less well. That is why we look at all three before recommending anything.

  3. 3 · Description. Gives the reason to click. Written by us, not left to chance.

What we do

What our SEO service includes

Every engagement is planned around your site and market, so the mix changes. These are the areas we work on and what each involves in practice.

Technical SEO audits and fixes

We crawl your site the way a search engine does and check indexing, site speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, redirects, duplicate content, canonical tags, structured data, XML sitemaps and robots rules. You get a prioritized list of fixes, and we can implement them or brief your developers.

Keyword research and search intent

We find the searches your customers use at each stage, from "what is" questions to "best provider near me", and work out what kind of page each search expects. That tells us which pages to improve, which to create and which searches to ignore.

On-page optimization

Titles, meta descriptions, headings, page copy, images and structured data, improved so each page clearly answers the search it targets and gives visitors an obvious next step.

Content strategy

A plan for the service pages, guides and articles your site needs to cover its topics properly, with briefs your writers (or ours) can follow. Content is chosen for its link to your business, not only for search volume.

Internal linking

Links between your own pages help search engines understand which pages matter most and help visitors find related information. We fix orphaned pages and build a structure that supports your key pages.

Off-page SEO and authority building

Digital PR, linkable resources, partnerships, and consistent business listings and citations. We earn links from relevant sites and never buy them.

Local SEO

For businesses that serve specific areas: Google Business Profile optimization, location pages with genuinely local content, consistent name, address and phone details across the web, and a process for collecting reviews.

International SEO

For businesses in more than one country or language: the right URL structure, hreflang tags (which tell search engines which version to show to which audience), localized keyword research and content that reads naturally in each market.

Enterprise SEO

For large sites with thousands of pages: crawl budget, faceted navigation, templates, governance and SEO requirements built into your development process, so improvements scale across the whole site.

Reporting and measurement

Monthly reports connecting SEO work to organic traffic, inquiries and revenue, plus the leading indicators we use to judge progress. Written in plain language, with what happens next.

Why it matters

What good SEO does for your business

  • You reach people while they are looking

Search traffic comes from people actively looking for an answer, a product or a provider. That intent makes it one of the most valuable sources of visitors.

  • Results build on each other

Unlike ads, a page that ranks keeps bringing in visitors without paying for every click. It still needs maintaining, but the value grows over time.

  • Other channels get cheaper

A fast, well-structured site with useful content improves ad landing pages, gives social media something worth sharing and makes your brand easier for AI search tools to understand.

  • Visitors trust what they find

Appearing for the questions your customers ask, with clear and helpful answers, builds trust before they ever speak to you.

Most SEO problems I see aren't mysterious. They are a handful of technical issues nobody fixed, and pages written for the business instead of the searcher. I would rather fix those properly than sell you a long list of monthly "activities".

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question?

Ask us directly. You will get a straight answer, even if it is that you don't need us.

Ask Your Question
How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show an effect within weeks, once search engines recrawl the affected pages. Ranking for competitive, commercial searches usually takes several months of consistent work, and longer in crowded markets or for new websites. We show you the early signals we track, such as pages indexed, impressions and rankings for target topics, so you can see progress before the leads arrive.

Can you guarantee first-page or #1 rankings?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Nobody outside Google controls its rankings, and results also depend on your competitors and your market. What we can commit to is the quality of the work, a clear plan, and honest reporting on what is and isn't moving.

What do you need from us to get started?

Access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics (or help setting them up), access to your website or CMS, a list of the products or services that matter most to your business, and one person who can answer questions and approve changes. If you have past SEO reports or know about previous site changes, those help too.

How much time will our team need to spend on this?

Usually an hour or two a month for a check-in call and approvals. If you want us to implement changes directly on your website, the time needed from your side is minimal. If your own developers implement our recommendations, we write clear tickets they can act on.

What happens after the SEO audit?

You get a prioritized list of issues and opportunities, explained in plain language, with the expected impact and effort for each. We walk you through it on a call. You can then implement it yourselves, ask us to implement it, or move to an ongoing SEO engagement. The audit is useful on its own, whichever you choose.

Do you build backlinks?

We build authority through methods that hold up over time: content worth referencing, digital PR, partnerships, and claiming mentions and citations your business has earned. We don't buy links or use private blog networks, because they put your site at risk of a penalty.

How do you measure SEO progress?

By what reaches your business: organic inquiries, sales or sign-ups, and traffic to the pages that drive them. Along the way we also track visibility for target topics, indexing health and technical issues. Rankings for a handful of vanity keywords are not a good measure on their own.

We are moving to a new website. Can you help protect our rankings?

Yes. Migrations and redesigns are where many sites lose traffic. We map old URLs to new ones, check redirects, metadata and internal links before launch, and monitor indexing and traffic closely afterwards. Ideally, involve us before the new site is built.
