Ask Your QuestionWhat are Core Web Vitals?
Three measurements Google uses to judge page experience: LCP (how fast the main content appears, aim for under 2.5 s), INP (how quickly the page reacts to taps and clicks, under 200 ms) and CLS (how much the layout jumps around, under 0.1). They are a ranking signal, and they directly affect how many visitors stay.
Why are the "real visitors" and "lab test" numbers different?
Real-visitor data comes from Chrome users who actually visited the site over the last 28 days, on their own phones and connections. The lab test loads the page once on a simulated mid-range phone on slow 4G. Google ranks on the real-visitor data; the lab test is best for finding what to fix.
My mobile score is much lower than desktop. Is that normal?
Yes. The mobile test deliberately uses a slower device and network, which is what many of your visitors really have. Most searches happen on phones, so the mobile score is the one to focus on.
Where does the data come from?
From Google's own PageSpeed Insights service (Lighthouse for the lab test, the Chrome UX Report for real visitors). We show it in plain language and keep the result for 10 minutes so you can share it.
