Rank First on SERP

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Rank First on SERP ("we", "us") collects through rankfirstserp.com, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We have tried to keep it short and in plain language.

Who we are

Rank First on SERP is a digital marketing and technology agency based in India. For any privacy question or request, email sumitpandey010@yahoo.com.

What we collect

When you contact us

If you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the service you are interested in, an approximate budget and your message. We also record the date and time and the IP address the form was sent from, to protect the form against spam and abuse.

If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

When you browse the website

Like most websites, our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we use analytics, it is only loaded after you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner; see Cookies below.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible project with you
  • To prepare proposals and, if we work together, to deliver the agreed services
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam
  • To understand which pages are useful, if you have accepted analytics

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

Legal basis

Where data protection laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, we process inquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and keeping our website secure. Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process the information you provide for the purpose for which you provided it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as far as needed:

  • Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and the inquiry database
  • Our email provider, which delivers inquiry notifications to our team
  • Google, for analytics, only if you have accepted analytics cookies

Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under applicable law. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for our business records if we go on to work together. If we don't work together, we delete inquiry details within 24 months, or sooner if you ask. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS encryption. Inquiries are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for normal visitors by default.

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, set via Google Tag Manager): only if analytics is enabled on the site and you click "Accept analytics". They help us understand which pages are visited and which lead to inquiries. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every page.
  • Admin session cookie: used only by our own staff when logged in to manage the blog. It is never set for visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email sumitpandey010@yahoo.com. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes, and change the "last updated" date at the top.
